FRP/GRP Tanks and Silos
FRP/GRP tanks are used for numerous industries and sectors. The FRP/GRP tanks manufactured by us contain high quality of materials for storing acids, water, alkalis and other liquid items. These tanks contain thick base for ensuring proper storage of the items. These tanks are available in various sizes and patterns as these are used for storing ferrous sulphate; dilute H2SO4, acetic acid, gasoline, hydrogen peroxide, chromic acid, phosphoric acid, chlorine, ammonium hydroxide, nitric acid , brine, etc.

FRP/GRP tanks manufactured and supplied by us have several features like chemical resistance from outside and inside, easy in maintenance, industrial fumes, and any other weather condition cannot make any harm to them, light in weight, and easy in modification, modest in initial costs. We manufacture FRP/GRP tanks that can resist various acids and chemicals at temperatures of –40deg C to 160 deg C and make them in proper shape and size to preserve the items. These tanks are manufactured as per customers’ specified shapes and sizes using destructive pattern method.

Method of Construction:
Pattern:
  • Nu wood or hard board pattern will be constructed for the size and dimension specified.

  • Smooth putty finishing from outside will be made on the pattern (the final equipment will have smooth internal finish).

  • All flanges and other manholes will be fixed using the above materials and finished for smooth external surface (internal in piece).

  • Dimensions for pattern will be the internal dimensions for the final equipment.

  • Polyvinyl alcohol coating and wax polish for the pattern to be applied at the final stage for giving luster and release of pattern.
MOC for Tanks:
  • Gel coat made from chemically inert aerosil and resin.

  • Gel coat of 2 coats to be applied in order to secure from any kind of porosity.

  • Ashalnd Resin having viscosity of min 450cps and specific acid value will be used will be used.

  • CSM (chopped strand matt) 450 +/- 20 gms will be used for each layer for thickness build up to the desired level.

  • Final layer will be of surface matt to give a comparatively lesser rough external surface.

  • Gel coat will be applied/resin coating on the final surface will be given.

  • No filler of any kind will be used.
Manhole /Pipe /Inserts:
  • Manhole will be of integral construction.

  • Pipes and fittings will be moulded with FRP (bonded with the main system).

  • Flanges and other external surfaces will be integral moulded without any joint or welding.
PV/PP Lined FRP/GRP Tanks:
Initially PP/PVC tank will be manufactured and the MOC of the above procedure will be followed.

PVC Tank Lining:
Flexible PVC tank lining for cement tank will be carried for tanks and gutters.
